I was originally trained as a pharmaceutical chemist, but I have always been drawn to nature, and understanding the deeper layers of being human. I am wife to Gerke, mother to Evi, and together we live on a piece of land in Portugal, surrounded by cork trees & medicinal plants. This shapes the way I work. It reminds me everyday that healing is not something we ‘do’. It is something we learn through listening more deeply, by slowing down and truly being present with whatever is moving through our lives.

Over the years, I found myself bridging two worlds: science and intuition, body and energy, structure and feeling. The scientist in me wanted to understand how things work. Part of that curiosity started very young. When my father became seriously ill, I made a promise to myself that one day I would help people heal. At the time, I thought that path would exist purely through science and medicine. Life eventually brought me somewhere more layered than that. The feeler in me was always aware that not everything meaningful can be measured. And along the way, those two parts started to complement each other.

Today, that integration forms the foundation of my work. I work with the body, energy, emotions, subconscious patterns, and herbal support. I do not believe in either/or. I believe in this AND that. I believe physical symptoms are rarely just physical. Emotional pain is rarely just emotional. And that the body can often hold information before the mind understands it. My own body taught me this too. Years ago, recurring physical pain became one of the reasons I started looking beyond purely physical explanations.

True healing, to me, is not about fixing yourself. It is about understanding what your body, your energy, and your patterns are trying to communicate and learning how to work with that. My goal is not to make people dependent on me. It is to help them develop the awareness and tools to understand and navigate themselves. Because when we begin to truly see ourselves, clearly, honestly, and without shame, we often remember something important: That we were never broken to begin with.
